In order to further enrich the campus cultural life, enhance the cohesion of the class, the sense of collective honor, and promote the exchange between the classes, on the afternoon of 20th February, our school held the tug-of-war competition in Grade 7 in the school playground.
To start with, this competition takes the class as the unit, adopts the way of drawing lots for the competition, and decides the ranking according to the way of grouping cycle.
To be concrete, the competition began with the referee's whistle. Then the opposing players gripped the rope tightly, pushed off the ground with their heels, lowered their center of gravity, and competed fiercely. Thus, on the field, the players of each class were full of spirit and high morale. On the other hand, the students who watched the match were enthusiastic and cheered for the team members. Therefore, on and off the field, the atmosphere was extremely intense with every eye and every heart twitching nervously for the little red on the rope.
Moreover, in the competition, each class has fully displayed the spirit of indomitable endeavor, which showcased their best athletic skills and sportsmanship. With their sweat and their cries, the players showed us the power of unity.
In conclusion, this tug-of-war competition not only exercised students' body, demonstrated the high spirit of our students, but also reflected students' hard work and brave sportsmanship. Therefore, it’s hoped that they can continue to take this spirit with full enthusiasm to meet every challenge, leaving wonderful memories for their junior high school life!
